Hosted by China International Youth Exchange Center, , Supported by the Forestry Bureau, and organized by China Mineral & Apparatus Exhibition, Forest China and other organizations. In this exhibition, Secretary General of the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said, "It has been more than 10 years since the future forest and the UNCCD were established. It is remarkable that the effort to plant trees in the lasting desert continues. I am glad that we have exhibited at the exhibition hall in May, where the future forests have been planted after the UN headquarters exhibition last year. " It was planned by Kim Seung-min, a curator who organized exhibitions dealing with social issues such as the 2009 climate change photo exhibition <Interview with the Earth> and the 2016 Jikji International Festival theme exhibition. It will provide deserialization and land degradation and artists' gaze to global desertification prevention decision-makers and entrepreneurs attending the conference, and maximize awareness of the necessity and urgency of land protection.

The video work, Becoming Horse, Becoming Mineral, was produced exclusively for this exhibition.
