Figurative Sculpture at the Rome Art Workshops led by Brian Booth Craig and David Simon. Not a residency per se, but the experience shared the same intensive learning experience within a studio environment. In this workshop we learned how to construct the human figure from armature to final model in plasticine (oil based modeling clay) within 50 hours with a live model. Here I document some of the process.

I highly recommend these short courses, from sculpture to painting, to anyone wanting to invigorate their practice.
