2018, So Far.

2018 is looking promising. I started the year with a small solo exhibition, Prophilia at SPRMRKT @ STPI in Singapore in January displaying a collection of new works - hand painted watercolor portraits on metal trays and woks. In February, I took my first site trip to Krabi in preparation for the Thailand Biennale at the end of this year. I'm hoping my proposals will work out and be doing site specific installation in Krabi in October/November. I'm about to depart for my next artist residency with the Bangkok University Art Gallery (March 15- April 30) culminating a solo exhibition and book. Whereas last year was largely in Singapore, this year will be in Thailand.

As far as skill development, I'm looking to still stay in Asia and hope to travel to Siem Riep to study stone sculpture and possibly Ubud/Bali for wood sculpture.

In my studio in Vietnam, I will continue to develop ideas and continue my explorations in painting.
